Projects

Each family has a lineage with a story. Each story has a bloodline that spans time and travel. It is these spans that Vangie Williams and her teams follow to mend the broken lines of family history bringing families together. Do you know who you really are... Are you from an ancestrial royal line? Are you the decendent or in relation to a person of history? Do you have mysterious health issues? In most cases, we can help you learn your past to succeed in the future.

Vangie Williams is a professional genealogist, historian, historical researcher, project manager, and author.  She has been researching family lineages since 1988.  In addition to her genealogical experience, Vangie has been a project manager since 1999 possessing an Masters Business Administration emphasizing Project Management and is currently in pursuit of a Bachelors in Science Degree in History.

Vangie is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogist (APG), the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People as well as several historical associations, historical societies, county museums and libraries.

Vangie’s goal is simply to complete the Broken Life Journals within every family and reunite those separated by history whether man-made or simply fate. Therefore, Broken Life Journals, Inc. was formed to help individuals and families interested in not only knowing their past but learn the history of their ancestry. Discovering famlily heritage from stories told from generation to generation is the first step to discovery; the second is through documentation maintained by government offices, churches, cemeteries, travel manifests and media outlet. Bringing the past to the future helps families in not only learning about their ancesto'rs history but their medical and financial histories as well;and to understand family customs and discover lost relatives, known and unknown.

Broken Life Journals, Inc. is a genealogical company with the goal of reuniting families distanced by broken life circumstances such as adoption, foster care, slavery and war. Not only does Broken Life Journals research family lines but we also research plantation family lines to search for the descendents of the plantation and then reuniting broken family lines when possible. Sometimes finding heirs to land and perhaps money. Broken Life Journals continues the research by inviting the family members all races back to the plantation site or a nearby venue for a meet and greet.
